William LYDICK, 81, well known farmer living East of Browns   Valley died on Tuesday morning, Jan 7 after a protracted illness.   Funeral services are being held at the residence this afternoon   in charge of Rev. Luke Bolen, pastor of the Christian Church.   Burial in Indian Creek Cemetery. He was the son of Robert and   Charlotte NORGIL Lydick and was born in Bourbon Co, KS. He   married Catherine Hicks Nov 24, 1881. She died Dec. 4. There is a   son, Claude Lydick and two brothers, Ira and Charles Lydick. Mr.   Lydick was a successful farmer and highly esteemed in the   community.

William Lydick, 81, died at his home 3 miles east of Browns Valley Tuesday Jan 7. He was born in Kansas the son of Robert and Charlotte Norgil Lydick. He married Katherine D. Hicks who died December 4, 1940. Survivors are a son Claude of Browns Valley, two brothers Ira of Browns Valley and Charles of Waveland. One brother preceded him in death. Burial was in Indian Creek Cemetery.   --- kbz
